Painting the Arctic Wilderness and Northern Lights with Hazel Soan – August 2018

I have been busy researching new painting locations and subject matter for our regular artists and new customers and have just returned from visiting a wonderful three-mast sailing boat that offers excellent facilities and the opportunity to enter and paint the remote Scoresby Sound in NE Greenland. The ship has 17 ensuite cabins, a lecture room and plenty of deck space for working from. Painting subjects will be icebergs, northern lights, Inuit people and autumnal colours.
